This is our second year at Lapland Lake for our family reunion. I love the lake! Kayaking is awesome. We have a camp fire every night. The stars are crystal clear. The outdoors are great and the cabins are well equipped! I really like staying here and the owners are very friendly.

Rooms are very clean. The owners are very accommodating. The lake and surrounding wilderness are beautiful. It's a good place to stay away from technology.
We were at a wedding, which was really beautiful and we'll supported by the owners, and are considering returning for vacation. There's a lodge and the individual cabins are very nice. They are in an area that supports mostly cross country skiing but it's on a beautiful lake and would be ideal for outdoorsy, off the grid time. They get Internet at the lodge, but no cell reception.
Beautiful, beautiful spot with a Finnish flavor. Excellent cross country skiing on groomed trails, a lovely lodge with traditional Finnish sauna, overnight lodging in tupas (Finnish for "cabin" I guess). The lodging is quite expensive, in my opinion, but the place is worth it. Reasonably priced ski rental packages and lessons.
