I am *ONLY* posting this review because the place was amazing and we look forward to making it a family vacation getaway. They deserve the praise and attention - I am just hoping that as word of this great place gets around we will not have problems getting a cabin in years to come.
I agree with the other reviewers. The place is like a throwback in time ( with Wifi). The owners make you feel like your staying with your favorite aunt and uncle. The riverside grounds are beautiful and the charming cabins are meticulously maintained and comfortable. Thank you Donna and Dave for keeping this gem safe!
All in all this is probably one of the area's best kept secrets. The cabins were clean and well taken care of as well as the bath house.

We spent a good amount of time just sitting and relaxing in their Adirondack chairs down by the river. At first my son was a bit nervous about the lack of "No TV" and "No Internet" but with everything that the innkeepers suggested that we see in the area, he quickly forgot about that. As an example they told us of a location to fish and within 2 casts my son had landed a 2lb bass.
We had a wonderful stay. Donna is a wonderful host and makes a delicious breakfast. The property is well run and maintained. The views are breathtaking and the smell of fresh pine trees and fresh air was the icing on the cake.

From the breakfast waiting in our fridge every morning (which included great local fruit) to the knowledge of the area we could not have asked for a better weekend get away. My son had a blast swinging on their swings and helping to feed the trout in their trout pond.
Just returned from a 2 nights stay at the Cabins in Hope. If you like the Adirondack life style and have yet to stay here, you are missing out. From our arrival we were greeted by the husband and wife innkeepers, who went out of their way to make us feel welcomed.
